Staying true to the old ways, the Po'ohuna Initial Level Training is an intensive workshop offering authentic teachings as they have been shared for generations by native Hawaiian kahuna.

Po'ohuna means "Divine Mysteries" in the Hawaiian language, and in this program, we will explore the Hawaiian cosmology. Cosmology is the organization, structure, and relationship of the heavens and the earth based on the Kumulipo - the Hawaiian Creation Chant. Plus, you will learn the spiritual and cultural foundations at the heart of all the Hawaiian arts.

You will learn to work with mana and the elemental energies to strengthen and heal the body, mind, and spirit and build a stronger relationship with the world around you. You will find your personal pathway to discover and know yourself as your own kumu (source).

You will...

Explore the Hawaiian view of Spirituality and the Structure of the Universe.
Learn how to live more fully in Aloha.
Learn traditional chants and prayers for creating deeper spiritual connections.
Use the meditation techniques believed to be the gift of the Gods to the first Kahuna for self-empowerment.
Experience and build a personal relationship with the four elemental energies of Fire, Water, Air and Earth.

Actively practice directing the elements with evolving levels of purity as the foundations for spiritual healing and other shamanic practices.
Learn a safe and effective Hawaiian healing & assessment ritual.

The goal of the practices learned are to give you a personal pathway to find your own sources of mana, your own spiritual gifts, and your own way of being in the world.

Through "talk story", the culture, experiential work, and hands-on practice, you will find a deep inner strength and peace as you learn to build a closer personal relationship with the earth and heavens. You can learn to work in harmony with the forces around you, instead of fighting against them.

This course is the first step of what the elders call the "Narrow Path" of the kahuna. If you feel the calling to continue on to deeper levels of skill and ability, we have higher levels of training available to guide you into your personal gifts and mastery. Trainings are available as workshops and as one-on-one mentorship.

We want to make the space available to those who can attend the class on any particular date.
